Before coming to the Commission, Ross worked for the Federal Public Defender's Office, District of Connecticut, both as an Assistant Federal Public Defender and a Research and Writing Attorney. Ross previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant, United States District Judge, District of Connecticut, and as a staff attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Ross received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and graduated cum laude from Cornell Law School.
