Business meetings begin Monday morning for judges.  The Conference opens for all others Monday at 2:00 p.m.

The Conference will adjourn by 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6.

 

Program

Confirmed speakers for CLE sessions include U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, Paul Clement, Retired Texas Supreme Court Justice Nathan L. Hecht and Texas Supreme Court Justice Brett Busby, Judge Carlton Reeves, Professor John Yoo, Amy Howe, Sarah Isgur, and many others. 

 

Attire

Business Casual attire is appropriate for all Conference meetings, sessions, and events.

 

Cost to Attend

Expenses to consider:

  • Registration fee = $350, includes CLE, breakfast on Monday (if arriving early),  Tuesday, and Wednesday, and the Chief Judge Welcome Reception Monday evening.  You may register a plus-one at no additional registration fee.
  • 1 conference luncheon Tuesday (optional) = $35 per person
  • 1 conference social Tuesday night (optional) = $65 per person
  • Lodging for 2 or 3 nights (rates vary, depending on the hotel) 
  • Airfare or Roundtrip mileage
  • Ground transportation
  • Meals not provided/offered

CLE

The Conference will apply to the State Bars of LA, MS, and TX for accreditation.   Once the hours are approved, forms will be available on the CLE tab on this website and also in the Conference Headquarters room. 

CLE request forms must be completed and returned to Headquarters by the close of the Conference.  Be sure to have your Bar Card Number with you.  Incomplete forms will not be processed.

The Conference does not

  • apply to states other than LA, MS, and TX for CLE accreditation
  • submit CLE request forms to states other than LA, MS, and TX

 

Registration

Online registration will open on or about Wednesday, April 1.  You will receive an email when the registration portal is added to this website.

The deadline to complete or modify online registration and pay all fees is 5:00 p.m. CT Wednesday, April 22. 

No refunds will be issued after this date.
